East Yorkshire Show & Family Fun Day on 17th July 2016

If you fancy a traditional family fun day out you have to go to the East Yorkshire Show and Family Fun Day that is held at Brantingham Park, Elloughton, HU17 1HX from 10.00 to 17.00. This annual event has so much to offer for all age groups, stalls, crafts, vintage, live music and entertainment, lots of food stalls and demonstrations, beer tent, children’s rides and entertainment including fun fair it really is a  lovely event, good location with free parking entrance fee £2.50 children £1.00. Riva Lounge, Flemingate, Beverley

Has anyone tried Riva Lounge at Flemingate Centre yet? Having visited the premises I found the staff helpful, menu mouth-watering and choice really good. Riva offers a continental experience with a twist, they have outside tables to soak up the lovely sunshine (British weather permitting) and relaxing comfortable atmosphere inside, whatever you are looking for you will have a good dining experience at Riva. The Little Gift Shop

Looking for a gift with a difference pop in and look at the Little Gift Shop, based at 14 Wednesday Market, Beverley HU17 0DH. The proprietor of the business, Rosie Steele, has lots of different affordable stock of gifts, ideas to suit both genders and all ages it really is a treasure trove of unusual and well-presented items. Much of the stock has been sourced from local craft makers including Bundle & Rust quirky clocks, Amanda Rose Designs bespoke cards and gifts, Dimpled Heart Pottery, Vanessa’s Crafty Corner bespoke glassware, Angela Marie Designs an artist creating a world of “quirkiness”. Beverley Vintage Fair

We had a meet up at Beverley Vintage Fair that was held at the racecourse 8th May 2016. The weather was really kind for the outside stall holders, sunny and bright which sums up the atmosphere at the fair. Lots of stalls and an eclectic mix of items to purchase including food stalls, clothing, household goods and accessories. There was some bizarre yet tasty food goods including cocktail jams and jellies flavours were based on the many cocktails now available as alcoholic beverages including tequila sunrise and margaritas different and nice!
